Announcing the Wendy Brackney Daniel Foundation

A Non Profit 501 (C) (3) Foundation

We are excited to inform everyone that we have established the Wendy Brackney Daniel Foundation.
This is a non profit 501 (C) (3) Foundation to help feed, educate, and establish a strong Christian faith in a small mountain village in Mexico.

My wife and I have lived as a homeowner in Mexico in this small village for the past three years.  We saw the need to feed the hungry, help with education, and maintain the Church in our village. We have been doing this for the past year, and the need continues to grow to other small villages in our area.

Puerto De San Marcos is a mountain village of 120 residents with several other villages close by.

All donations go for

  • Food
  • Wages for the cooks
  • Wages for one maintenance person
  • Propane for cooking
  • Bottled water
  • Wages for the two teachers
  • School supplies

We are seeing a need to expand to other area villages near us.

Food

Six meals a week, with a to-go box for Sunday. Most homes have no way to keep food fresh, no stoves.

Education

Thirty plus students attend school Monday through Friday, ten and half months a year, with extra help on Saturday morning provided by the two teachers.

The Recipients

In our own village, we see the need in not just the elderly, but in young mothers and small babies. Nearby villages are seeing what we have been providing, and are needing help.

These villages have only two other Americans living here part time, so we see the need, and could use your generous help.

Your Contributions

A tax deductible donation of any amount will make this mission grow to help a lot of others in nearby larger villages.
